In the CCM (training center) they were quick to expect perfect teaching and made us feel nervous in the first practice lesson. Practice! That was discouraging.
Espanol todavia es dificil, pero estoy mejorando. :)
The dynamic duo got separated, we're in different areas. Sad but we'll see each other next transfer. I got to see Hal too, and I met Spencer's friend hna Trujillo from Canada! She's awesome!
My comp is hna Capps. I got a gringa! It's nice that she speaks english, It's been a comfort while I'm practicing and adjusting. It has been a heck of an adjustment. Super overwhelming. I know I'll love it once I get used to it though. I just keep reminding myself to look at the moment and not the whole 18 month picture so I don't have a spaz attack. The other missionaries are really nice, my zone is going to be a lot of fun. We live with the stake president's family in their backyard... haha it's awesome, they have a little two story building with two rooms and we're on the second floor, the stairs don't have rails though so I'm certain I'll fall before long D: I'll send pics on Monday. Oh, my pdays are Monday now!
None of the people we visited last night were home, so my first real lessons will be this afternoon! I'm excited to finally get to know people, that'll definitely help me get going.
We made it to our mission in time to watch a bit of the Dia de Independencia parade! It was neat, I love seeing all the banderas around the city. Pres and Sister Borg are amazing!!!! I love them. Dad, he built his own plane! Quick star I think it was called. He's flown it all over, at least till he crashed it. Then he sold it. He said he was a center when he was an ATC. Hna Borg is adorable. They're so funny!
I sent some fun pics of my CCM familia... so much love as far as the elders are concerned. Poor Elder Houtz, they attacked him 24/7. Then my latinas of course are awesome. And my favorite gringas, we met on the flight from ATL. I'll try to send as many pics as I can, I can only do one at a time though so it's frustrating. But from now on I'll have an hour and 15 to write! Cada lunes :D
Ahhhh mi familia I love you so much. I miss you every day and I'm proud to rock the tag for you.
I'm sure I'll have some good stories for you on Monday once we've gotten started :)
Amor para siempre!
**Oh, by the way, I found out that my mailing address won't change my whole mission, just send letters and stuff to the mission office (On contact tab). I don't have the address on me now but it's the one that's in the packet, I think it's the same one we put on the blog too. I'll send it on Monday to be sure. Oh and they said not to put Hermana or Sister on it in the title (Address it Natalie Seivert or Natalie Ann Seivert) or they give them a really hard time at the post office and they have to pay a fee. Thanks for sending cards! Hopefully I'll get them next weds :) Sorry my letters are such a mess! I keep thinking of things and I can't keep my thoughts straight... hopefully that'll get easier.
Ustedes son los maximos!!
